Watching esports over the years has gotten more and more streamlined with new platforms and apps. Watching esports via computer, smart tv, smartphone or tablet is a favorable way to have you engrossed in competitive gaming

With an internet connection and an app, you are on your way to watching live streams from the comfort of your living room, bedroom or even if you can risk it, work. Over the last couple of years, it has been easier and more accessible to watch wherever you are.

There are many ways to watch esports. These include devices and which platform you like to use. Not many platforms allow you to interact with the live stream itself other than letting you donate which tends to not show on an esports tournament like any other sports show. You can comment but with the number of people watching you will be flooded over with the spam of people supporting the teams.

How to Watch Esports:

Smartphone:

If you are using your smartphone, simply go to the app store and download Twitch or Youtube if you have not already. These apps are compatible with both iOS and Android.

After installing the app, you will need to make an account which is easy. Once you have created your account, you are set to start watching live streams.

Find the game you are interested in watching, such as Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Vaolorant, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six: Siege Dota 2, League of Legends, and more. These games tend to be the most popular with high-profile streamers playing them in tournaments that have big payouts. You will often hear streamers such as Shroud, Dr.Disrespect, and Summit1g playing these.

You should have a look for esports channels which can be found easily by searching on the top bar “ Esports” followed by the game of choice. A popular Esports channel would be ESL, MLG

Web browser:

Watching streams on the computer or web browser is straightforward. Make sure you go to the websites mentioned above. Log in and follow the same as searching on your smartphone.

If you are using your phone/tablet, we recommend that you swap to getting the app on these devices instead as they are updated regularly and you can use features such as casting to your smart tv.

Smart TV:

Esports on TV is relatively new to the scene of sports and is growing to be a massive hit across the globe. Most modern smart TVs have Twitch, Youtube, ESPN, and other platforms available to be used directly on the TV which you can download from the Smart TV’s app store.

Not to mention if these apps aren’t on your TV, you can typically cast from your smartphone to the TV. If your TV is not smart you can purchase a Chromecast, Rokuku, or Amazon Firestick which would allow casting from your phone to your TV.

Find out When Esports Stream Starts

If you are interested in finding out more about the time when these events start, the best way to stay up to date is to follow the organizers on socials such as Twitter or discord which have thriving communities of their own. Examples of organizers like Riot Games, ESPN Esports, and Intel Extreme Masters.

Depending on the timezone of when these events take place, you may want to check what time it may be for you locally.

Overview

There are many ways to watch esports in any way that you prefer. Many of these platforms don’t allow you to interact with them as Fandifi does. Fandifi allows you as a fan to interact with Esports with interactions and questions that you can forward to many other fans and have a unique experience at the same time while being entertained.
